Manage subscription
This page covers how to subscribe to Lynkle Pro, manage your billing details, and cancel your subscription. If you're on a Lynkle Teams plan, see Billing & user management for team-specific billing information.
Subscribing to Lynkle Pro
Lynkle Pro unlocks all premium features including multiple cards, card insights, lead collection, card branding, email signatures, private card sharing, and searchable cards. You can subscribe on a monthly or yearly basis, with yearly billing saving you 40%.
- Open the billing page
Go to Settings > Billing and click Get Lynkle Pro (or Start 7-day free trial if you're eligible).
- Choose your billing cycle
Select Pay yearly or Pay monthly. Yearly billing is selected by default and saves 40% compared to monthly.
- Complete checkout
Click the subscribe button to proceed to the Stripe checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm. You'll be redirected back to Lynkle once payment is complete.
All prices are quoted and charged in USD. If you have a promo code, you can apply it on the Stripe checkout page.
Free trial
If you've never had a Lynkle Pro subscription, you're eligible for a 7-day free trial. The trial gives you full access to all Pro features. You won't be charged until the trial ends.
If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged and your account reverts to the free plan when the trial expires.
Managing a Stripe subscription
If you subscribed through the Lynkle website, your subscription is managed through Stripe.
Go to Settings > Billing and click Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal. From the portal you can:
- Update your payment method by adding a new card or changing your default payment method.
- View and download invoices for all past payments.
- Cancel your subscription (see Canceling your subscription below).
You'll receive an email reminder before your yearly subscription renews, including the renewal amount and the card on file.
Managing an Apple subscription
If you subscribed through the Lynkle iOS app, your subscription is managed through Apple.
To manage your subscription, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. From there you can change your billing cycle, update your payment method, or cancel.
You can also manage your subscription at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Switching between monthly and yearly
To switch from monthly to yearly billing (or vice versa), cancel your current subscription and resubscribe with the new billing cycle after your current period ends.
- Cancel your current subscription
Follow the steps in Canceling your subscription below. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
- Resubscribe with the new billing cycle
Once your current period ends, go to Settings > Billing and subscribe again, selecting your preferred billing cycle.
If you subscribed through Apple, you can switch between monthly and yearly directly in your Apple subscription settings without needing to cancel first.
Canceling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again.
- Open the billing portal
Go to Settings > Billing and click Manage subscription.
- Cancel your subscription
In the Stripe billing portal, click Cancel plan and confirm. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
What happens after cancellation
When your subscription ends:
- Your account reverts to the free plan.
- You keep access to one active card. If you have multiple cards, you can still view and edit them, but you cannot create new cards until you're back within the free plan limit.
- Pro features like card insights, email signatures, private card sharing, searchable cards, and card branding become unavailable.
- If private card sharing was enabled on any of your cards, those cards become inaccessible until you either resubscribe or turn off private sharing.
- Your data is not deleted. If you resubscribe later, everything is restored.
Resubscribing
If your subscription has ended, you can resubscribe at any time from Settings > Billing. Your previous data, cards, and contacts are preserved.
If you previously subscribed through Apple, you can also resubscribe through the Lynkle iOS app. Use Restore Purchases in the app if your subscription is active but not reflected in your account.
Billing history
If you're not currently subscribed but have a previous subscription, the Settings > Billing page shows a Billing History section where you can view past invoices and payment history.
