Getting started with Teams

Teams

Lynkle Teams lets you manage digital business cards for your entire organization from one place. Create cards for your team members, enforce consistent branding with card templates, track engagement across all cards, and keep a shared view of every contact your team collects.

What's included

With a Lynkle Teams subscription, you get everything in Lynkle Pro plus:

  • Card templates - Define default values and lock fields (company name, logo, colors, links) so every card stays on-brand.
  • Team cards - Create and manage cards for your team members from a central dashboard. You can even create cards for people before they join.
  • Team contacts - See every contact collected across all team members' cards in one place, with optional CRM sync.
  • Team insights - Track card views, link taps, contact saves, and other engagement metrics across your whole team.
  • People management - Invite team members, assign roles, and control access.
  • Single sign-on (SSO) - Set up SAML SSO with Azure AD, Google Workspace, or Okta for secure, centralized authentication.
  • Organization integrations - Connect Salesforce or Outlook at the organization level to sync contacts automatically.

Setting up your team

  1. Sign up

Go to the Lynkle Teams sign-up page and create your account:

    • First name - Your first name as the team owner.
    • Work email - The email you'll use to sign in.
    • Password - Or click Continue with Google to skip the password.

Click Start free trial to create your account.

  2. Verify your email

We'll send you a 6-digit code. Enter it on the verification screen, or click the link in the email to confirm.

  3. Name your team and start your trial

On the next screen, enter your organization name and the number of seats you want (minimum 5). You'll be redirected to checkout to add a payment method, and your 30-day free trial starts immediately. Cancel anytime in your account.

  4. Manage your subscription

Anytime during or after your trial, you can update your payment method or cancel from your billing portal.

  5. Create a card template (recommended)

Before inviting your team, set up a card template with your company's branding. Go to Card templates and click Create template. Add your company name, logo, colors, and any other fields you want to be consistent across all cards. Lock fields that team members should not change.

  6. Invite your team

Go to Settings > People and click Invite people. Enter each team member's email address and click Send. They'll receive an email with a link to create their account and join your organization.

Alternatively, you can invite people while creating team cards, which sends the invitation and creates a card for them in one step.

Each invitation expires after 7 days. If someone hasn't accepted, you can resend it from Settings > People.

Roles

Lynkle Teams has two roles: Owner and Member.

  • Owner - Full control over the organization. Owners can manage billing, invite and remove team members, create card templates, view team cards, access team contacts and insights, configure integrations, and set up SSO.
  • Member - Can use their own Lynkle cards with all Teams features (branding, wallet passes, contact exchange) but cannot manage the organization or access team-wide dashboards.

An organization can have multiple owners. You can change a member's role from Settings > People at any time. For a full breakdown of what each role can do, see Billing & user management.

Once your team is set up, you'll see additional tabs and settings as an owner:

Dashboard tabs:

  • My cards - Your own personal cards.
  • Team cards - All cards across your organization.
  • Team insights - Engagement metrics for all team cards.
  • Templates - Your card templates.

Settings tabs:

  • People - Manage team members, roles, and invitations.
  • Security - Configure SAML SSO for your organization.

These tabs are only visible to owners. Members see only their own cards and settings.
