Outlook for organizations

Teams

The organization-level Outlook integration syncs leads from all your team members' Lynkle cards to their individual Outlook contacts. When someone shares their contact details through any team member's card, a contact is automatically created in that team member's Outlook account.

Unlike the personal Outlook integration, this is set up once by the organization owner and works for the entire team. Individual members don't need to connect their own accounts.

Before you start

  • A Lynkle Teams subscription with organization owner role
  • Microsoft 365 admin access to your organization's tenant (to grant admin consent)

Connect Outlook for your organization

  1. Open integrations settings

In Lynkle, go to Settings > Integrations and click Connect.

  2. Choose the scope

Select Entire team to set up an organization-wide integration.

  3. Select Outlook

Click Outlook from the list of organization providers.

  4. Grant admin consent

You'll be redirected to Microsoft's admin consent page. Sign in with a Microsoft 365 admin account for your organization and approve the permissions Lynkle is requesting.

This grants Lynkle permission to create contacts on behalf of users in your Microsoft 365 tenant.

Admin consent is required because this integration creates contacts in other users' accounts. Only a Microsoft 365 admin can approve this.

After granting consent, you'll be redirected back to Lynkle and the integration will appear under the Organization section on the Integrations page.

How it works

Once connected, the integration works automatically for all team members:

  • When a lead is collected through any team member's card, a contact is created in that team member's Outlook account.
  • The team member must have a mailbox in your Microsoft 365 tenant. If they don't (for example, if their Lynkle account email doesn't match a user in your tenant), the sync is skipped for that member.
  • There are no per-card toggles for the organization integration. It applies to all cards across your team.

Disconnecting

To remove the integration, click Manage on the organization Outlook integration and then Disconnect. This stops syncing for all team members. Contacts that were already synced will remain in each member's Outlook account.

To fully revoke access, you can also remove the Lynkle application from your Microsoft 365 admin center under Enterprise applications.

Troubleshooting

  • Integration shows "Disconnected" status. The admin consent may have been revoked in your Microsoft 365 tenant, or the application credentials may have expired. Click Reconnect to re-grant admin consent.
  • Contacts not appearing for a team member. The member's Lynkle account email must match a user in your Microsoft 365 tenant. If the emails don't match, the sync is skipped for that user.
