Apple Wallet

Add your Lynkle card to your own Apple Wallet, then show its QR code when you meet someone. They scan it with their phone's camera to open your digital business card and save your contact details. They don't need Lynkle or Apple Wallet, and they can use an iPhone or Android phone.

Think of the pass in your Wallet as a stack of business cards in your pocket. Each scan is like handing someone one card. Your pass stays in your Wallet, ready for the next person, so you never run out.

You don't need to send the Wallet pass to anyone. The Wallet file (.pkpass) is for adding your card to your own Wallet. To share your contact details, show the QR code or send your Lynkle card link.

What's on the pass

Your Apple Wallet pass includes:

  • Your name, position, and company
  • Your profile photo
  • A QR code that links to your Lynkle card
  • Your card's brand colors

The QR code opens your full Lynkle card, including the links and contact details that don't appear on the Wallet pass.

Adding your card to Apple Wallet

Add the pass once on your own iPhone. You can then use it every time you meet someone.

  1. Open Lynkle on your iPhone

    Open your cards dashboard in Safari on your iPhone.

  2. Tap Add to Apple Wallet

    Below your card, tap the Add to Apple Wallet button.

  3. Confirm the pass

    Review the pass preview, then tap Add in the top-right corner.

If you're on a computer, open Lynkle in Safari on your iPhone to add the pass to your Wallet.

Sharing from Apple Wallet

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the pass showing your business card.
  3. Show its QR code to the person you're meeting.
  4. Ask them to open their phone's Camera, point it at the QR code, and tap the link that appears.
  5. Your Lynkle card opens on their phone. They can view your details, choose Save Contact, and follow the prompts to add you to their contacts.

The pass stays on your phone. The other person saves your contact details to their phone's contacts; they don't need to add your pass to their Wallet. You can show the same pass to the next person you meet.

If you use private card sharing, open the current pass in Wallet when you share. Its QR code uses an expiring link that refreshes automatically.

Sharing by text or email

When someone isn't with you, copy your card link from Lynkle and send it by text, email, or your preferred messaging app. They can open the link and save your details without scanning a screen or opening a Wallet file.

You don't need to use the share button inside Apple Wallet or attach the .pkpass file to your message.

Automatic updates

Your Apple Wallet pass stays in sync with your Lynkle card. When you edit your name, position, company, photo, or colors in Lynkle, the pass updates automatically. Keep using the same pass for future introductions.
