Team cards
TeamsTeam cards let organization owners create and manage digital business cards for every member of their team from a single dashboard. You can pre-fill card details, apply a card template for consistent branding, and even create cards for people who haven't joined your team yet.
The team cards dashboard
The Team cards tab on your dashboard shows every card across your organization in one place. Each row displays the team member's name, position, card link, applied template, and status.
Cards have one of two statuses:
- Active - The team member has accepted their invitation and their card is live. You can click the name or link to view it.
- Pending - The card has been created but the team member hasn't accepted their invitation yet. The invitee's email address is shown instead of a card link.
Creating a team card
- Start creating
From the Team cards tab, click Create team card. This opens the card editor with team-specific options.
- Choose a card template (optional)
If you have card templates set up, select one from the Template dropdown under Team details. The template's pre-filled values (company name, colors, logo, links) are applied automatically, and any locked fields cannot be changed on the card.
If you don't select a template, you can fill in all fields manually.
- Assign to a team member
Choose who the card is for:
- Existing user - Select a team member from the dropdown. The card is added to their account immediately.
- Invite new user - Enter the email address of someone who isn't on your team yet. They'll receive an invitation email, and the card will be created automatically when they accept.
- Fill in card details
Complete the card fields: name, headline, company details, links, images, colors, handle, and visibility settings. Fields pre-filled by a template can only be edited if they aren't locked.
- Create the card
Click Create to save. For existing users, the card goes live immediately. For new users, the card stays in a pending state until they accept the invitation and create their account.
Creating a card for a new user requires an available seat. The seat is used when they accept the invitation and join your organization. You can add more seats from Settings > Billing.
Resending invitations
If a team member hasn't accepted their invitation, you can resend it directly from the team cards dashboard. Find the pending card in the table and click Resend invite. A new invitation email is sent to the invitee's email address.
Editing and deleting team cards
Organization owners can edit active and pending cards from the Team cards dashboard. Editing opens the full card editor, including any fields controlled by the selected card template. The invitee email address on a pending card cannot be changed.
Deleting an active card permanently removes the card but keeps the person as a team member. Deleting a pending card permanently removes the pending card and cancels its invitation. Pending invitations do not reserve seats, so deleting one does not change your available seat count.
How card templates work with team cards
Card templates define a set of default values and locked fields that apply to every card created from that template. When a team owner creates a team card and selects a template:
- Pre-filled values (company name, logo, colors, links) are applied to the card automatically.
- Locked fields cannot be changed by the card owner. This ensures consistent branding across your team. For example, locking the company name and logo means every card using that template will always display the same company details.
- Unlocked fields can be customized per card (personal details like name, phone number, and email).
