Lead collection

ProTeams

Lead collection turns your Lynkle card into a lead capture tool. Every time someone saves your card, Lynkle prompts them to share their own details back, so you walk away from every meeting, event, or introduction with a new lead in your dashboard.

How leads are captured

When someone views your card and taps Save Contact, Lynkle shows them a short form asking for their first name, email, and optionally last name and phone number. When they tap Send, their details are added to your Contacts page as a new lead.

The form is built into every Lynkle card. There's nothing to configure or enable. For more on the mechanics of the form, see Contact exchange.

The form is the same on every share method, including links, QR codes, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, NFC tags, and the App Clip. A lead captured through your QR code at an event lands in the same place as a lead captured through your email signature.

Where your leads land

Every lead appears on your Contacts page. Each entry shows:

  • The lead's first name, last name, email, and phone number (if provided)
  • Which card they saved (useful if you have separate cards for different roles or events)
  • The date and time they shared their details

A badge appears on the Contacts tab whenever you have new leads you haven't viewed yet, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Notifications

Lynkle notifies you the moment a new lead comes in:

  • Email with the lead's name and details, plus a link to open your contacts dashboard.
  • Push notification on iOS if you have the Lynkle iOS app installed. The notification opens straight to your contacts so you can follow up immediately.

Sync leads to your CRM

If you connect a CRM in Settings > Integrations, every new lead is automatically pushed to your connected accounts as soon as it's captured. No manual export, no copying and pasting.

Lynkle Pro and Teams support automatic sync to:

Lynkle Teams organizations can also configure org-wide integrations so every team member's leads sync to the same CRM. See Outlook for organizations for an example.

Leads sync the moment they're captured. If you connect a CRM later, only leads captured after the connection are synced. Existing leads stay in your Lynkle contacts dashboard.

Tips for collecting more leads

  • Share your card at events. Print your QR code on a name badge, conference handout, or table card. Anyone who scans it gets your details and can drop their own in seconds.
  • Add your card to your email signature. Every email becomes a potential lead. See Email signatures.
  • Use NFC tags. A tap on a phone is the fastest way to share, and the form pops up automatically on iOS via the App Clip. See NFC.
  • Use separate cards for different audiences. Create one card for each role, event, or campaign so you can see exactly which channel is producing leads in your contacts dashboard.
