Email signatures

ProTeams

Email signatures turn selected details from your Lynkle card into a polished image that you can use in Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail.

You can customize and preview every layout for free on the web. A Lynkle Pro or Teams subscription is required to save, copy, install, and serve the saved signature image.

How it works

The Signature Studio lets you choose a layout and select which email address, phone number, or website to show. You can preview changes without changing the version that you have already installed.

If you are on the free plan, use the Pro upgrade button in Create and install when you are ready. Your draft stays in the same browser tab through checkout or cancellation. After upgrading, return to the Studio and select Create signature to save it. Upgrading does not automatically create or install a signature.

When you select Create signature, Save changes, or Update signature, Lynkle saves a fixed image of the current preview. Later card edits do not silently change that saved image. Return to the Signature Studio and explicitly update it when you want new card details to appear in email.

The saved image is hosted by Lynkle. Copying your signature includes a link to that image, not embedded image data, and makes the image clickable to open your card. Your card must be public before you can save any signature layout.

Choose a signature layout

Lynkle offers five layouts. Every layout requires a public card, and the Signature Studio tells you when another card update is needed before you can save one.

  • Minimalist: Shows your display name, role or company, and optional email and phone details. Your card needs a display name and either a role or company.
  • Compact: Shows your profile image, role or company, email, and card link in a compact row. Your card needs a profile image and either a role or company.
  • Elegant: Uses a spacious layout for your selected email, phone, and website details. Select at least one contact method.
  • Square: Pairs your card details with a QR code.
  • Complete: Combines your profile image, selected contact details, card link, and QR code. Your card needs a profile image and at least one contact method.

Choose Brand or Accent to use a color from your card, White for a clean background, or Custom to pick another background color. You can leave the border off or color it with your brand, accent, or a custom color. Lynkle automatically keeps the text readable against your background selection. If your card has more than one email address, phone number, or website, choose the specific detail you want to include.

Updating your signature

When your card changes, the Signature Studio shows the new details as a draft while keeping your saved signature unchanged. Review the preview and select Update signature when you are ready.

Copy the updated saved signature and replace the old version in your email app.

Loading the signature image does not count as a card view. When someone opens your public card from the signature, that visit appears in card insights.

Card visibility

Every email signature style requires a public card. If your card is private, the Signature Studio links you to the card editor so you can make it public before creating or updating your signature.
