Outlook Contacts
ProTeamsConnect your Microsoft account so that leads collected through your Lynkle cards are automatically added to your Outlook Contacts.
When someone shares their contact details with you via your card, Lynkle creates a new contact in your Outlook account with their name, email, and phone number.
This page covers the personal Outlook integration, which syncs leads to your own contacts. If you want to sync leads for your entire team, see Outlook for organizations.
Before you start
- A Lynkle Pro or Lynkle Teams subscription
- A Microsoft account (personal, Microsoft 365, or work/school)
Connect Outlook Contacts
- Open integrations settings
In Lynkle, go to Settings > Integrations and click Connect.
- Choose the scope
If you're on a Teams plan and are an organization owner, you'll be asked who the integration is for. Select Just me to connect your personal Microsoft account.
If you're on a Pro plan, you'll skip this step.
- Select Outlook
Click Outlook from the list of providers.
- Authorize Lynkle
You'll be redirected to Microsoft's sign-in page. Sign in with the account you want contacts synced to, then grant Lynkle permission to manage your contacts.
Lynkle requests permission to create contacts in your Microsoft account. It does not read or modify your existing contacts.
After authorizing, you'll be redirected back to Lynkle and the integration will appear as Connected on the Integrations page.
Managing the integration
Click Manage on a connected Outlook integration to:
- Choose which cards sync. Toggle syncing on or off for each of your cards. When a card has syncing enabled, any new lead collected by that card will be added to your Outlook Contacts.
- Sync new cards automatically. Enable the "Sync new cards" toggle so that any cards you create in the future are automatically included.
Disconnecting
To stop syncing, click Manage on the integration and then Disconnect. This removes the connection between Lynkle and your Microsoft account. Contacts that were already synced will remain in your Outlook Contacts.
Troubleshooting
- Integration shows "Disconnected" status. Lynkle periodically refreshes the connection to your Microsoft account. If the refresh fails (for example, if you revoked access or your password changed), the integration will show as disconnected. Click Reconnect to re-authorize.
- Contacts not appearing in Outlook. Verify that the card you're testing with has syncing enabled for this integration. Open Manage and check the toggle for that card.
